MESAC (1997) is an Education Centre which was established in 1997.
We provide Secondary Education in short time to those who missed it or the Rejected by the formal Government and Private Secondary School System.
MESAC provides Secondary / High school Education;Teachers' Training Courses; Vocational Training Courses; Computer Studies; and Foreign Languages Course
MESAC:The Sinza Campus runs its services along Shekilango Roadat Mapambano, Sinza, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
Mbezi Beach Campus - at Makonde, Bagamoyo Road.
Nzovwe Campus - Mbeya City.
The morning session: From 8:00 am - 01:00 pm.
Evening session: From 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
and the night session from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm(East African Time. i.e. + 3GMT).
The Courses offered at MESAC:
1. ORDINARY LEVEL: Secondary Education Program form I to IV.
2. ADVANCED LEVEL: High School Education Program form V to VI.
3. TEACHERS'TRAINING COURSES:
a). Certificate in Teaching i.e. Pre-School and Teachers Grade III A.
b). Diploma in Education. i.e. in Arts, Commerce and Science Subjects.
5.VOCATIONAL TRAINING COURSES:
The Courses and Levels of award will base on VETA (i.e. Vocational Education Training Authority of Tanzania)
- THE SUBJECTS TAUGHT UNDER SECONDARY AND HIGH SCHOOLS:
i) O - Level:
Civics, History, Geography, English Language, Kiswahili, Basic Mathematics, French, Book Keeping, Commerce, Biology,Physics, Chemistry, Computer Studies and Bible Knowledge.
ii) A - Level:
General Studies, History, Geography, English Language, Kiswahili, Computer Studies and Divinity.
ADULT LITERACY CLASSES
-Classes for illetacy:
-Learning to Read, Write and Numeracy (counting)
-Simple English Use
THE TARGET GROUPS:
A: Civil servants, businesspersons, policemen and women, soldiers, self-employees, clergy etc.
B: Re-seaters of different national examinations i.e. Certificate / Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations - CSEE/ACSEE (Curriculum of Tanzania)
C:The HIV-virus/AIDS ophanated children/persons.
OBJECTIVES OF MESAC:
1.To provide education at cheap and affordable cost.
2.To run and conduct secondary and high school programs in short time. i.e. it takes TWO YEARS for one to complete secondary education ( Ordinary Level equivalent to GCE) insteady of fours years and it takes ONE YEAR to complete Advanced Level of secondary education (equivalent to IB)
3.To run education centres where nursery,primary and secondary school teachers will be up grading their education levels.
4.To educate civil servants such as; policemen /women, soldiers,business persons ,house servants, clergy and any person in need of secondary education.
5.To establish, within MESAC campuses, Foreign Languages Teachers'Resource Centres.
6.To establish Computer Studies and IT Course programs.
7.To provide employment to teachers at MESAC:
PROBLEMS FACING MESAC:
i).MESAC does not own premises to run its services, this has resulted to the failure of providing services at its capacity.
ii).Lack of text books, computers and other teaching materials hinders MESAC efficience .
iii).Many civil servants can not afford travelling expenses to the centre because they are not located in the city centre where many civil servants work.
iv).No trasport to and from School/College Centres for staff and students.
v).No staff houses.
THE COST:- The tuition fees and Registration fees are quit reasonable.
Fees can be paid in a three months down to one month installation.
WHY CHOOSE MESAC?
Many join MESAC:The Holy Apostles School & College because of the SUCCESS shown by those who have completed their studies at the centre for instance:-
a). Since 1997, 89 Form Six leavers of MESAC have joined the University of Dar Es Salaam in different Undergraduate Degree Courses.
In 2006/07 Academic Year 28 joined University of Dar es Salaam in various of her colleges, many more joined other universities and colleges.
b). Many Nursery and Primary School teachers have joined various Teachers' Colleges for Diploma in Education.
c). Policemen/women and Militia men who have undergone Secondary Education Program successesful at MESAC have been promoted in their respectively posts / ranks. Some among them have gone for upper rank Junior/Sinior Officers Course.
d).Clergy from various religious beliefs and denomitions, such as, Moravian,Rutheran,Roman Catholic, Pentecost churches and muslim sheikh have attained secondary and high school education.

CLASSES FOR ILITERATE:
New Programme: Mesac starts Classes to teach illiterate (adults;from 13 years old and above) how to Read, Write, Counting and English for Beginners at its centres in Dar es Salaam Mbezi Beach-Makonde, Kawe, Sinza, Ubungo and Mbeya on 15th September, 2012
